Painting

Painted with 2-pack automotive paints. All parts are from a wreck, so all original "Tupperware" is not touched. First layer:

Adding the stripe:

Assembeled! When the first trip was made, it was still some snow here and there..!
Still with the original mirror... (only one mounted here)

A bit later, and the new mirrors are mounted. I have connected the LED´s in the mirrors via a relay, so they shine all the time, but blinks with the original blinker. The small ones on the fairings are a bit TOOO small to make the police happy, I think..

Notice the "MX" handlebar. Really good looking, and quite cheap. (BILTEMA, for you Scandinavians!) Had to modify it a bit to rout the cable for the handlebar heaters, but it turned out perfectly. Did not mount the handlebar weights. I'm not noticing very much vibrations anyway.

Here I tried the original fairings and silencer:

Got myself a Scarver!

Thought I'd show some of the modifications made om my -04 F650CS Scarver. Bought in in the dark Scandinavian winter of 2011. Had a Kawasaki ZR-7S before, but for my use - mainly commuting to work, and sporting around the city -  a smaller an lighter bike seemed ideal. I liked the concept of the Scarver, but I did not really like the looks in the original shape. The worst thing was the tail end with it's horrible mud flap arrangement. Quite easy to modify! All mods on this bike are made so it's easy to turn it back to the original shape in about 30 minutes.
